Friday, May 29, 2009. I totally agree with "Little Italy, big appetite", as shown below. Why? This place is small as hell, the distance between me and the other guy sitting next/behind/in front of me was ridiculous. They always manage to squeeze in quite a number of diners inside so I heard. It was congested inside and outside there was this long line of hungry people waiting in the cold. We were lucky to have waited for 15 minutes to get the table but not so when we waited for the food! After a hearty meal, we went to Carousel for some late night shopping and that's where we watched NATM2. Subsequently, we headed towards Concas with our half filled tummies. A large bowl of chilli mussels and a basket of garlic bread later, we were really, really full... and also extremely satisfied. Hands down they have the best chilli mussels EVER! The second thing that I miss from Perth (the first being bbl) is this! Wonder why there isn't anything that comes close to it in Melbourne. I'm craving for it again.
