Sunday, July 12, 2009. I haven't been so happy in such a long time, period! The last time we sat down together was probably a year or two ago... I wasn't around during the annual Chinese New Year "gathering" this January and I felt like I've missed out on so damn much. Extremely thankful that they made time to meet up with me despite being occupied with work etc. If only MyButt was there to make it a "picture perfect" night. Every time when I meet up with them I'd beam. I believe our friendship's still strong even though everyone has been engrossed in their own worlds, their own lives. These are the kind of friends that I don't have to see every day but I know if I ever needed them, they would be there. With every passing year we grow older and the stuff that we talk about changes too. We used to worry over silly things like stupid boys, school, drama and other petty matters but now we discuss about marriage, working life, money, career and the future. I'm truly happy for the few of them (esp. Poh Lin Jie) whom are lucky enough to find bliss in their better halves. I'm anticipating for the big announcement and the big day! LOL. Please don't make me wait so long, I want to be a bridesmaid!!!! I don't care if I'm not included. I'll just show up as one of them. Also, glad to know that everyone's doing so well at their jobs, and none of them as lonely as me. They have too many to choose from. DAMN. The night was too short, for me at least. I hate goodbyes, especially the ones told to and by people whom you really care for. Jie had to leave early, she still has the Cinderella in her. The rest of us headed to Long Bar to continue drinking... ordered a beer tower and loads of food... needless to say we finished both the food and the beer! When it was time to go home I felt super "em seh tak"!!! I don't know when's the next time we'll meet up... probably at the end of the year. Swore that I'd be back for good- no more excuses.      PohLinJie- No thanks, I don't want to stay in Melb!!! I know you've always said living there is so much better, and you've also encouraged me to build my life there if I wanted to and I would if I could. I guess you'll see more of me next year. Haha. Thanks for always sticking by, you know I love you and PLEASE just make me a bridesmaid SOON. I'm so desperate okay. Cannot get married myself but want to participate la. KaKAka.
