I wasted 2.5 hours of my life.
Sunday, August 23, 2009. Why is everything so expensive? I just checked the air tickets + hotels... they cost freaking a lot. It's recession. Everything is supposed to be cheaper. Kills to know that I have to save up so much, got to say goodbye to the bag that is on my wishlist. Just checked my account balance and... I have nothing much left. Not for myself anyway. The rest belongs to my mum. Bwahaha. Damn -_-" Didn't do much during the weekend, went for a movie last night and it was terrible. We watched Inglourious Basterds because that was the only show the rest haven't watched. Sighs. Missed another chance to watch the Ugly Truth! I reckon I should download and watch it at home myself instead of having to wait and wait and wait for other people to watch it with me. Also, another movie on my must-watch list is Laughing Gor. ***   A review on Inglourious Basterds: It was two and a half hours of torture. Pure mental torture. Not forgetting my back and ass were already stiff when the movie was done. I suspect they used up all the funds to hire Brad Pitt as the actor/bait because if he wasn't in this shit movie, no one would actually watch it. Brad was there to LURE us into the cinema, thinking it would be a good movie. With a limited budget they decided not to hire a film editor. Why? Because is was too draggy and long winded. They talked and talked and talked and talked and talked like there was no tomorrow; like they haven't spoken in a hundred years. By the way, it was like watching a foreign film with English as the secondary language. Wait. NOOOOO. They spoke French and German the most, making English their third language. The best part is when they did converse in English, no one could really make out what they were saying because of the damn Texas accent that Brad was imitating. It was so irritating. Some of you might like it but for me it was a waste of time and money. I really don't know how to appreciate movies that are so... boring. Seriously if they cut out the talking parts, the movie would be left with like 20 minutes of gunshots and brutal killings. That would have been so much better than the entire movie itself. I can't emphasize enough on how shitty it was... so please, watch it only if... you want to waste 2.5 hours of your life. xxx ♥ 8:24 PM
