"I just want you to be happy"

In the real world... it means "I just want you to be happy (if it means I get to shut you up)"

I don't believe in crap like that just because I refuse to believe that there are people who care enough to want me to be happy... well apart from my family... even friends drift apart... boo hoo. It's either I'm really pessimistic or I'm a realist. I dont know. My doors are shut and I have major trust issues (like you've never experienced before). I'm not letting anyone in.
