Foie gras parfait with toasted brioche.

Cracked wheat & freekeh salad, preserved lemon, barberries.

Whole slow roast lamb shoulder to share.
The freekeh salad (sounds like freaky salad lol) was weird on its own because it was served kind of cold but went very well with the lamb as recommended by the waiter and it was a popular dish as other diners all around us ordered that salad too. The foie gras melted in my mouth and when I took the first bite I instantly thought of Han Li and I know he would love it. Last but not least, the lamb..................! It had like this crispy skin on the outside but not too dry on the inside! It was tastyyyy! It has been like 5 hours since dinner and I'm still sitting here complaining that I'm too full. So satisfying. We have already decided where to go next for our food expedition. Can't wait.
