    Food @ Gold Coast.

It's true what they say; hard to find good food around at Surfer's Paradise. Mostly they cater to tourists (rip offs) or local tastebuds. These two restaurants; the Korean one (sorry I forgot the name due to heavy intoxication of Soju) and Alfresco Italian, are probably the best food we had during our trip. The Korean BBQ, I must say, was tasty and slightly better than what we usually have in Melbourne. If not for Hooi Li and her husband we wouldn't come to this place :)

On the other hand, the Italian restaurant was always packed with people and mostly locals. We thought it was safer to try compared to Asian places because we are in a kwai lou country, aren't we? It wasn't bad... at all. They had this super hot homemade chilli oil which was a condiment to go with the pasta and pizzas. Yummms. Of all the Italians that I've tried, they never had this homemade oil thingy. Quite surprising really. The pastas were made fresh, and pizzas were crunchy and yummy. All in all, GOOOOD Italian food!

    I miss!
